MISSION STATEMENT
NCA and its partner organizations strengthen families and neighborhoods by providing comprehensive programs and services.
VISION
NCA will be a leader in strengthening and developing opportunities for individuals, families and communities. We will do this through an innovative and focused use of technology, and through strategic partnerships. We will use our knowledge to provide our customers with quality service and our compassion to nurture their growth and independence. We will be financially prudent, seeking ways to be increasingly self-sufficient.
The NorthShore Community Alliance (NCA) provides intensive, in-home services to more than 400 families in Allegheny County each year. Your contributions allow us to increase our depth and reach. You help us to become better family advocates, parental coaches/advisors, and to deliver innovative technology and job-skill training programs. NCA looks to deal with the root causes of poverty by providing opportunities on many levels to the consumers we serve, with the goal of keeping the family unit strong.
However, we’re operating in a time when funding levels for programs directed to our community’s most vulnerable people are being cut back at the federal, state and local levels. That’s why your donations of money and support are even more crucial now.
